Engineering and soft toy design were combined to create an automaton. The concept is based on a music box in which the ballerina and the flower rotate through mechanical movements. The automaton mechanism consists of two movements using gears, with the flower rotating vertically while the doll rotates horizontally. The project uses felting, embroidery, pattering and sewing.
